The brown and green team...
We are lucky to have a team of passionate people who love great food to work in our stores.
It’s hard work, it makes your feet ache, and it’s very busy - but luckily they seem to like it!
The team at Trentham is headed up by Julie Pimlott (left) and Becky Wright, and they are enthusiastically assisted by Sue, Louise, Andy, Clare, Caroline, Gemma, Rachael, Alice, Amelia.
Our Derby store is led by Tom (below), who is helped by Rebecca, Hayley, Linda, Evie, Meghan and Eliza.

Inga manages our Newent store (formerly Shepherd’s Farm Shop), and her dedicated team consists of Tonya, Evie, Hannah and Amelia.
Brown and Green is a partnership between Blue Diamond (who operate Garden Centre’s around the UK and in the Channel Islands) and entrepreneurs Susie and Euan Keenan.
Susie, a farmers daughter, is passionate about local food and great customer service. Brown and Green is essentially her vision realised - unpretentious and vibrant food stores which prioritise and celebrate local produce, have super friendly and knowledgable staff, and are run with attention to detail and professionalism. Susie looks after sourcing all the products in our stores, as well as overseeing the way they look, the promotions and events we run, and all the ways we communicate with our lovely customers. Born in Shropshire, brought up in Devon, studied at Harper Adams, now living in Gloucestershire and loving the buzz of developing Brown and Green with husband Euan.
Euan is a farmer and businessman, and looks after all the operational aspects of running the Brown and Green business. Through partnerships near home in Gloucestershire, Euan grows glasshouse strawberries, apples and pears, and enjoys looking into new ventures and opportunities. Experienced in looking after large teams of seasonal workers in the fruit industry, Euan is a natural people manager, and also the ‘numbers man’ (where Susie is the ‘words’ woman!). Euan is Scottish born and bred, but now happily living in the Shires, with wife Susie and their son Ralph.
