New range of beers now in store 'From the Notebook', with a Seabird theme inspired by the Farne Islands, these birds are brewed in Northumberland by Allendale Brewery. Find out more here, and come along to taste the beers on Sunday 14th April at our Trentham store or Sunday 7th April at our Derby store. New arrivals are also now in from Stafford based Slater's Ales. Emperor is an Indian Pale Ale aged in oak barrels and sold in one-litre swing top bottles (7% ABV). We also have in stock bottles of Slater's Haka, a 5.2% ABV brew which won the 2010 SIBA Midlands strong bitter award. Vicky is in store at Trentham with tastings of Slater's Ales on 6th April. We are looking forward to welcoming a changing 'guest brewery' at our Trentham store in future, and Andy has been looking at new beers and breweries to feature in this way giving you a bit more variety. The first 'guest brewery' is due to be Blue Monkey Brewery from Nottingham - we thought real ale lovers as well as Trentham Monkey Forest fans would enjoy a selected number of their beers, including BG Sips. We'll let you know when they arrive with us at Trentham.

Following our Brown and Green trip to Westminster in February - we are so pleased to have been mentioned by name by the PM for bringing the "world famous" Staffordshire oatcake to the House of Commons!

On Wednesday 6th Feb, we enjoyed a fabulous day inside the House of Commons, meeting MPs and offering tastings of our delicious Staffordshire food and drink. We joined several of our producers, and other food businesses, at the Staffordshire Food Festival at Westminster, organised by Chris Pincher MP.
